It was developed in japan in early 1900’s by the Buddhist monk which involves the kneading, pressing, soothing, tapping and stretching that are performed with light and comfortable clothing. It also stimulates the body’s vital energy
called Qi. The pressure is given with thumb, hands, fingers, elbows,
knees or the feet. The pressure is given at the meridians of the body
which helps in to stimulate the nervous and the immune system. The body generally have 12 meridians
in the lung, large intestine, stomach, spleen, heart, small intestine,
bladder, kidney, heart governor, triple heater, gall bladder and liver.
