Track 4 : Ayurveda : Self-Healing

Ayurveda has its origins in the Vedic culture of India which is a natural healing system that is 5000 years old. The terminology Tri-Dosha describes that human beings are part of nature in which three fundamental energies that govern our inner and outer environment. The Ayurveda describes that the medicine is divided into eight components. Ayurvedic practitioners approach diagnosis by using the five senses. Ayurveda has paved a way to treat Alzheimer's disease which is a progressive neurodegenerative disease characterized by severe memory loss. Several ayurvedic medicinal plants and their constituents treat Alzheimer's disease effectively. In recent years, few well-known pharmaceuticals have started investing in Ayurvedic medicine in European and several Asian countries because of its increased usage.
